Good: Location is quiet but 9 minute walk to the underground.
Bad: Room had lots of wear and tear. Mattress was lumpy and uncomfortable. WiFi was spotty. Felt a little grimy for the price point.

1Staff should be ashamed of...
Good: Nothing.
Bad: On arrival, we were left sitting for half an hour, while our ‘room was sorted out’. Half an hour later it emerged that there was no room for us, despite booking months in advance. Communication from staff was disgraceful, and after sitting for a long time we were told a taxi was coming to take us elsewhere, despite us having no knowledge or having given no consent for this. We were told we would have to pay for the new hotel, and it would be after our trip was over before we could expect a refund. No other compensation was offered. Then the hotel we were brought to, despite being reassured it was the same standard we had paid for, had no knowledge of our arrival and no suitable rooms. We found accommodation ourselves elsewhere. This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had.

Good: The location was ideal for us and the area nice and quiet
Bad: The room was small and in a poor condition and in need of redecorating and/or a deep clean. There were marks on the walls and the headboard didn’t look very clean. The bathroom was very tired.
