Good: Comfortable beds, clean, right on the beach, great location.
Bad: Some confusion at checkin but otherwise fine. They asked for a small tourist tax at checkout which was not substantial but when pressed they said it wasnt actually mandatory. I dont like that they do that- it feels predatory and like someone is taking advantage. It wasnt the sum - it was the way it was requested. And when pressed, they said I didnt have to pay!

8A great and safe location for a first visit to Rio.
Good: The amazing location and the hotel provides beach towels, chairs and umbrellas at no extra charge. This is a great extra touch.
Bad: The lifts were very slow at times. Also didnt like that Wifi disconnects once you have checked out. We needed it for our Uber to the airport later in the day.

6Great Location; change the staff.
Good: Locatiin, and very clean.
Bad: Reception staff; tried to charge me in my own currency with a Mark up of 12%. I noted the wrong charge and they insisted that it was in local curency. After 10 minutes it was resolved but the attitude was not easy or nice.
